Perfect for a blowout look!I love this curling iron. It is exactly what I was looking for. A lot of people give this curling iron bad reviews because it doesn’t hold a curl in your hair. Well, this curling iron is not meant to give you ringlet curls. This curling iron is mean to give a semi-blow out type of look where the ends are curled. So they’re just using this curling iron for the wrong purpose. If you want loose curls, buy a 1.25-1.5 curling iron and comb/run your fingers through your hair.

No Other is BetterIve used other 2-inch curling irons, and this is by far the best. It gives me just enough volume. Love it.

Love it, but…..This is my fourth 2″ Curling Iron from Hot Tools. The good? I have a short bob and I like the way it lifts and smooths and turns hair under just a little at the ends. If you are buying for big curls, this is not the curling iron you want. It’s too big to curl. It’s easier to use than a flat iron for me.

Hot Tools has a new cheaper line. I tried one. My hair didn’t slide through it like it does with the 24k gold barrel. This one is definitely worth the extra dollars.

The bad? These only last 2 to 3 years if you use it 3-4 times a week for 10 minutes each time like I did. They need an auto shut off. They give you extra springs and every one I owned needed a replacement. That’s great, but you also need a special angled screwdriver to install the spring.

Overall, it beats all the competitors but I wish they lasted longer.

I never received item even after I showed the tracking number was assigned to a different item and my purchase was delivered to an address with the a totally different tracking number. Walmart did get me in contact with the distributer, but they also failed to send me the item of provide any tracking details.
